[Outside Lumière 104 are two presents. One is smaller, wrapped in blue and green striped paper. The card on top is printed with Gongenzaka's name. Inside, he will find a carved wooden bear standing on a rock. The bear has a salmon in his mouth and one in each paw. The much larger one is not a box, but a wooden crate. There's a card on top of that as well, addressed to Maya. Upon prying it open, she will reveal a sitar; it's plain and tasteful; the neck is a dark reddish wood.]

[Yuya waits to deliver Gongenzaka's gift last, so it's just after classes are finally ending and everyone will start preparing for the dance that he's waiting by Gongenzaka's room. That in itself isn't terribly notable, even if he's blatantly hiding something behind his hand.

Moreso, he rocks on is heels in a more nervous manner than usual, and it almost seems like he's pretending he can't hear Gon approach until he actually greets Yuya first.]

[What with it being just the end of classes, Gongenzaka of course is coming down the hall soon enough. Seeing Yuuya there however...he pauses.] Auh- Yuuya! [He greets.] ...Is something wrong? I, the man Gongenzaka, should think you would be getting ready for the dance at this time...

[He's sort of stashed his gift for Yuuya in his room...he was going to present it on the way to the dance...]

I will! But I have something for you first. [Yuya leans off the wall, taking a breath before he pulls his hands from his back and presents Gon with a very dark chocolate heart, almost the size of both palms, with a hint of orange to it. It's wrapped up in a clear bag, with the tag tied around the opening to keep it closed.]

[when Yuya gets back, the first thing he does is pester Gongenzaka about how Mariselle was and asks to see pictures. Then he'll deliver souvenirs, a new ceramic tea gift set and some higher end teas, because crush what crush.]

[Gongenzaka's souvenirs are a few authentic 'santons'- clay figurines- but he definitely has many many photos (and nicer snacks)! But he hopes you enjoy these Yuuya!

I failed to ask this when we first re-met but...what classes are you taking this quarter? When are your free periods?

[Yuya texts him a picture of his schedule because I haven't decided yet. It's probably not too different from last quarter in terms of his availability.]

[Toki has been meaning to talk to Gongenzaka again one of these days, after their last awkward texting. He's gone through four phones since then; it's been a while. He's talked to Yuya about trying to make more of an effort for his best friend, but ultimately did nothing. Things happened, he forgot, the usual. However, Jail's little project was the perfect excuse; he can say he'd made an attempt to engage in conversation with Gongenzaka, and also maybe get someone to do all the important work for him. And if he gets Maya instead, well, he'll just ask her. Toki knocks on the door of Lumiere 104... and immediately regrets it. Oh well.]

[Gongenzaka would technically smell Toki before he hears him, but identifying people by scent is far from something he allows himself to do in common practice. It becomes something more akin to background noise- something easy to ignore. As such, it takes until there is a knock at the door before Gongenzaka realizes someone is there- and the teen rather calmly gets up from his homework to go and answer it.

He's still not sure what to make of Toki. He can't tell if the other hates him, or not, but Yuuya has pressed for him to just forget about it and stop worrying about it enough times and between that and the incident with his grandfather everything sort of floated off and away from memory.

Which of course means there's no hiding the shock- and confusion, and mild anxiety- when he opens the door.] Auh....Toki? [He sounds almost hopeful despite himself- he prefers to build bridges not burn them after all, and while he never realized Toki had blocked his number, the last interaction they had over text did not exactly feel like a situation that ended remotely well. But the past was the past, Yuuya had long since swatted the nervousness away, etc...etc...

So Gongenzaka tries to greet Toki as if it were a fresh slate. More or less.] I, the man Gongenzaka, did not expect to see you I admit- is there something I can help with? [he asks pleasantly, rubbing the back of his head.]

[Okay, this was good. Toki was expecting a glare or some glowering, or at least a sigh of obvious annoyance.]

Gongenzaka! How have you been~!? [He doesn't care, but it's polite or whatever to ask.] So! I have a request for you and I think you should consider it even though we're not really you know, like friends or anything, but considering it's schoolwork related and you're smarter than me and you like to do homework and everything, do you want to do a project together~!?

[He's expecting a slammed door, or again, a sigh of annoyance.]

I train in the forests here yes, but I would not equate these mountains to the ones that the dojo has trained in...

Similarly, there are not really any true waterfalls that I should feel suitable for training here. It is something I have had to 'improvise' quite often.

I was wondering if you think it is possible for me to observe the Celestial Brush class you mentioned before. I am not sure if I am quite ready to participate, but the power seems similar to my own, and that has me curious.

Even if that is not possible, I would like to find time to talk again. Perhaps with a better setting? If you are interested, of course.

Hello Giorno!

I don't know if Amaterasu-sensei will take sit-ins, but I can certainly ask! It'll probably depend on whether or not we're learning anything dangerous- we recently did work on the 'Cut' technique, so we might have to take precautions.

That said, I'd love to meet up! If we could see the other in the afternoon, that's probably best? I often catch up on the evening hours in the morning.
