Mostly because he knows Yuuya is right but is in that awkward sort of position where even he can't bring himself to say 'yeahhhhh'.

So instead his brows just sort of furrow and un-furrow like he wants to say something, but has no idea what. Eventually he just says...]

[It's not getting through, is it. Yuya's shoulders sink and his gaze drifts down to the ground.] You're my best friend, after all.

[And despite what happened. He knows how much good there is in Gongenzaka past his condition.]

[It never seems to, not really. Or at least it doesn't seem to sink in the way Yuuya would want it to, the way anyone would want it to. And never right away- Gongenzaka stops walking for a moment to look at his friend, eyes watering just a touch.] I...

Right. [Yuya pulls up a smile, looking at Gongenzaka briefly before fixing his attention back ahead. He always wishes he could do more to help Gongenzaka, to get through to him, but... it always comes back around to this. He's just not quite enough.

It makes it chest tight, but Yuya's good at not letting that escape onto his face by now. He doesn't want to add to Gon's guilt any more than he already has.] So what are you going to eat?

Mnh? For breakfast? [He asks, only somewhat pulling back from the gloomy mood he's sunk farther back into. Food is a good way to get him back to spirits in the morning however- a rush of energy is just what he needs to get away from it all, so...]

...Some breakfast sausage, I think.

Not just a plate of breakfast sausage, right? Add some bacon to it too!

Mnh!! N-Naturally, bacon will also be included..! Eggs, as well! ...Auh...

[He frowns.] ...Some grains are necessary...

[Gon is in no position to talk about Yuya's eating habits.

Yuya looks amused, giving him a quick nudge.] Come on, faster we get there the faster we get to eat!

[And then he dashes off, though at least at a jog and not a full out run. It's a hallway after all.]

[Outside Lumière 104 are two presents. One is smaller, wrapped in blue and green striped paper. The card on top is printed with Gongenzaka's name. Inside, he will find a carved wooden bear standing on a rock. The bear has a salmon in his mouth and one in each paw. The much larger one is not a box, but a wooden crate. There's a card on top of that as well, addressed to Maya. Upon prying it open, she will reveal a sitar; it's plain and tasteful; the neck is a dark reddish wood.]

[Little does Toki know, that bear is forever going to be sitting on his desk now.]

[Yuya waits to deliver Gongenzaka's gift last, so it's just after classes are finally ending and everyone will start preparing for the dance that he's waiting by Gongenzaka's room. That in itself isn't terribly notable, even if he's blatantly hiding something behind his hand.

Moreso, he rocks on is heels in a more nervous manner than usual, and it almost seems like he's pretending he can't hear Gon approach until he actually greets Yuya first.]

aggressively tries not to pin too much of a schedule down on an otherwise SuperScheduledGuy...

Well, naturally, when sundown arrived I first went to change. From there, I spent the next few hours with Yuuya, and others.

When it came close to curfew for those without evening classes, I began my typical evening exercise- a run around the grounds of the campus, followed by kata near the woods.

Then it was time for class.

I then returned to my dorm, to work on some homework and enjoy tea before the 'first sleep'- and after this, the time between waking and sunrise was spent first reading and sorting my cards, and then in meditation within my dorm.

After this, I changed back, and went to sleep again. I was then awoken by your message.

[What with it being just the end of classes, Gongenzaka of course is coming down the hall soon enough. Seeing Yuuya there however...he pauses.] Auh- Yuuya! [He greets.] ...Is something wrong? I, the man Gongenzaka, should think you would be getting ready for the dance at this time...

[He's sort of stashed his gift for Yuuya in his room...he was going to present it on the way to the dance...]

I will! But I have something for you first. [Yuya leans off the wall, taking a breath before he pulls his hands from his back and presents Gon with a very dark chocolate heart, almost the size of both palms, with a hint of orange to it. It's wrapped up in a clear bag, with the tag tied around the opening to keep it closed.]

Happy Valentine's Day.

I am not the one who was 'inviting' anyone, people simply gravitated around myself, and Yuuya.
