Due to his canid features, Gongenzaka has a sense of smell equivalent to a red fox-or the average canine, at the very least. In addition to this however, he has a tracking spell which works based on identifying the energy signatures of souls around him-meaning that there are two ways for Gongenzaka to typically identify those of the Carnival, provided he's had enough exposure to them in one way or another.

With Scents being the most unique detail he can actively pick up upon, a small list can be found below;

✪ Yuuya - Pine, and plain soap.
✪ Herbert - Smells of Creamed Corn and Death. It's actually Re-agent.
✪ Tyki Mikk - Cigarettes & Apples. Occasionally, Blood.
✪ Zangetsu - Sharp, Metalic scent, and a hint of Sweet Rot.
✪ Rin Okumura - Home Cooking and Brimstone
✪ Foster - Horse, Barn, and Blood
